Half- Life Fan Made Game Taking to Screen
Author: S.A.

As an individual working with a great group of people here at the website, all of us with the drive to improve not only our business sense but our product, the story of Richard Seabrook is not only motivating but inspiring as well.

The 25 year old indie developer decided one day two years ago to quit his current job and to pursue his own passion, video game design, with not a prospect insight. That said, he decided to create a game as a means to prove himself to his favourite gaming company Valve. With that in mind he worked diligently for two hard years and to my awe and amazement has been met with good news.

His fan made game not only was approved, but is also due to be released on Steam in February of this year.

Valve, the company behind titles such as Half-Life, has given Seabrook the green light to use graphics from Half Life 2. Though the game itself is not actually an official Half Life product, it has defintely been approved by the company and seemingly fans as well.

Seabrooks dedication and hard work seems to be getting him slow recognition, and depending on how well this game release goes might land him a handy job at a video game company in the near future.

Check out Seabrooks interview with BBC on how hard it was to create this new addition to the Half Life universe:
