Sweet Christmas! Marvel and Netflix continue their hot streak with the release of Luke Cage. The show is a hit and also features a killer soundtrack that deserves to be played over and over again. Luke Cage made his debut in the early 70’s and was comics’ answer to the Blaxploitation films that dominated Hollywood at the time. Origin: Imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit, Cage then known as Carl Lucas, was part of a prison experiment that went wrong when one of the guards tried to sabotage it. Lucas emerged from the experiment with super powers, escaped from prison and assumed the name Luke Cage.
