Top 10 Defenders Covers
The Defenders are coming to Netflix and the eagerly anticipated series will feature four of Marvel’s street level characters who’ve already been featured in their own Netflix series. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will team up in the 8 episode miniseries set to begin streaming on Friday, August 18. The Defenders first hit the comic book scene way back in 1971 in Marvel Feature #1. The original roster included the Hulk, Doctor Strange and the Sub-Mariner and were soon given their own title in 1972. The team’s roster has changed drastically over the years featuring characters such as the Silver Surfer, Nighthawk, Hellcat and Valkyrie to name a few. To coincide with the new miniseries, Marvel has recently launched a new Defenders title featuring the heroes from their Netflix series.
