Martial Arts Expert Scott Adkins stars in Prisoner of War, a wartime action thriller
Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment is excited to share that Scott Adkins’ upcoming action thriller PRISONER OF WAR will be released on Digital Download on 6th October, followed by DVD and Blu-ray on the 10th of November.
The film has already started to receive critical acclaim, with Off The Reel calling it “a relentless, heart-pounding war epic” and Nerdly branding it a “gripping thrill ride“.
Blending expertly choreographed action with a unique story, this edge-of-your-seat war thriller stars martial arts master Scott Adkins (Doctor Strange, John Wick: Chapter 4), Peter Shinkoda (The Predator, Daredevil) and UFC’s Cowboy Cerrone.
Inspired by real World War II events, British RAF Wing Commander James Wright is shot down during the Battle of Bataan and captured by the Japanese. Thrown into a prisoner-of-war camp, he is forced into the ring to fight for survival in brutal hand-to-hand combat against skilled opponents. However, the soldiers get more than they bargained for when Wright’s years of training in Hong Kong prove him to be a formidable adversary.
PRISONER OF WAR will be available on Digital Download from October 6th with a DVD and & Blu-ray release from November 10th.
