Kids Ain’t Afraid of No Ghosts in Ghostbusters: Afterlife Trailer

Lets set the wayback machine to the 1980’s where hair was big, rockers wore makeup and when movies were totally rad. One franchise in particular was the Ghostbusters as it came out of left field and was billed as a comedy. However, no one knew how quickly this would take off as it had everything associated with the movie. Toys, comics, video games, cartoons and even a role-playing game were released. There was a sequel released sometime after the first but, it failed to capture the spark of the first movie and the whole franchise was quickly forgotten.

In 2016 a movie was slapped together and the fans revolted in massive numbers against it. They cried in unison about wanting another Ghostbusters film but they wanted something that was actually done well. They wanted someone to treat the source material right and not wind up being a mindless cash grab to milk the nostalgic fans who wanted more of this franchise.

Now. Sony has spoken with the official trailer of Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

And I have to say it looks amazing! I am REALLY excited to see this film folks and I will tell you why. It focuses on a single mom and her two kids as they have lost everything and move to the middle of nowhere where their grandfather has left their farm to them. When they arrive things start to happen and one of the kids finds a ghost trap hidden underneath the floor. Something evil is underneath this town and these kids must band together to protect it.

I have to admit that I had my doubts about this film but watching this trailer makes me want to see this even more! Ghostbusters: Afterlife is slated for a Summer 2020 release and if you want to know more head over to and remember.. I ain’t afraid of no ghosts!
