Players to compete for $20,000 in WGN’s first ever mobile tournament, in partnership with Samsung Canada
Toronto, ON | October 18, 2018 – Today WorldGaming Network announced the start of a competitive tournament for Hearthstone, the hit online collectible card video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Canadians aged 14 and over can now register for Hearthstone Canadian Challenge powered by WorldGaming to win more than $20,000 in cash and prizes.
The tournament will run from October through to December 2018. A closed qualifier will be held December 8 to determine the top four players who will go on to compete in the Grand Finals in Toronto on December 15, 2018, at The Samsung Experience Store, CF Toronto Eaton Centre.
Hearthstone, which is available on Android as well as iOS, PC, and Mac, has been one of the key games in driving forward the mobile gaming revolution, and Samsung’s participation as tournament sponsor will help bring mobile gaming to more people than ever.
