Halo 5: Guardians
Platform: Xbox One
Release Date: October 27, 2015
Developer: 343 Industries
Author: S.A.

Not much is known currently about the current plot in Halo 5 but one thing is for certain, John 117, the Master Chief, will be making his way back to players all across the world. That’s right folks; our favorite space totting hero is finally locked and loaded to make a return to the Xbox system.

A lifetime of childhood memories are stored in this man’s visor

Despite his return to the big screen, not all across the galactic system seem to have missed our Chief in the same manner that we have. A trailer released by 343 industries has shown an interesting new twist on the heroic adventures of Master Chief, wherein which he is now the hunted. Let me be clear here though readers, John 117 isn’t being hunted by the covenant or any such obvious foe, but rather his own army. In the trailer I’ve enclosed in this link, we meet one of the two protagonists of the Halo 5 universe, Spartan Locke. This Spartan has been tasked with one monumental task, bring in or seemingly kill Master Chief.

Spartan Locke on the hunt…

Why has Master Chief, the most self-sacrificing man the Halo universe has ever known, been branded a traitor? Why is he being blamed for the seemingly endless destruction shown in the Locke trailer? What have we missed in-between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5?

There are numerous questions to be answered, and the only way we can get them is by gearing up on October 27. That’s right guys; get ready to don your old visor and play as both Master Chief and Spartan Locke to see this story through to the end. If your new to the Halo universe and hesitant to get it, don’t be. It features a vast FPS world for you to not only roam through, but dominate in as your given character. If the Halo franchise name itself doesn’t entice you, well check out this trailer. It gives me goosebumps every time I see it.

Halo’s back grunts, join the fighting line.
