I can remember it as if it were yesterday. I was in a nice plush seat in the theater munching on popcorn and waiting for Avengers: Infinity War to start. However, in the back of my mind I was wondering how cool it would be to watch this in the comfort of my own house. Now mind you I don’t have a small TV and small speakers I have a 50” 3D TV with a four speaker surround sound setup so to say that I can replicate the theater experience in my home is underselling it.
As I sat in the darkened theater I saw the plot unfold as Thanos first encountered the Asgardian ship and then made his way to earth. Earth’s mightiest heroes banded together to try and stop the threat, however we all know the outcome as we wait with baited breath on the next chapter in the Avengers saga.
Now the wait is finally over as you can watch Avengers: Infinity War either on blu-ray, DVD or digitally with Movies Anywhere. Recently I was sent a code for Movies Anywhere and to say that I was skeptical about this service was an understatement. I thought this was going to be a long, drawn out process where they wanted a ton of information and it would be at least 30 minutes to set this up and watch the movie in my library.
How wrong I was.
Movies Anywhere makes it super easy as you sign up with an account, log into said account and enter the code. It is THAT easy. And I thought that the picture quality would be of poor quality such as on other streaming sites but I was proven wrong again! The picture quality is simply amazing! However, the fun doesn’t stop there as this digital version has extras including a track with a director’s commentary, gag reel, deleted scenes and some featurettes that are not even available on the blu-ray or dvd!
The blu-ray / dvd is no slouch as well as you can get it in either high definition or even 4k for those that have the proper equipment. The features mentioned above are also on blu-ray and there is also a digital code included so you can watch this movie on the go. If you travel a lot for work this is a movie that you will be glad to have in your library instead of watching a boring film offered to you on the flight.
